A nightmare on Santa Monica Blvd: Cinespia at Hollywood Forever Cemetery, California, USA


The first on our list of out-of-this-world cinema experiences is the 10-year-old, Hollywood Forever Cemetery, which is world famous for their open-air cinema screenings. This legendary location is even more unique as it the chosen resting place for more of Hollywood’s founders and stars than anywhere else on earth. Thousands of Los Angelenos and tourists flock to the venue each year, armed with deck chairs and blankets to share a classic film experience ‘with’ some of Hollywood’s most-renowned characters.

Not for the faint hearted: There are also late night screenings of horror films such as The Shining and Halloween – are you brave enough to take part in this truly haunting cinema experience? Go on we dare you…
